Mary Anne Campbell

After years of study with Craig Stevens, his wife Mary AnneĀ Campbell serves as the primary at-home instructor, helps with training, and assists Craig in developing the school.

An artist herself, Mary Anne leads seminars in the Artist's Way, a creativity program that helps students of any discipline protect and develop their unique contribution to the work they do. She's also an active writer and along with supporting him in the work on his Dressage Theory book she has co-authored several articles with Craig, as well as developing her own material for instructors.

Mary Anne's background includes administering a large Portland area riding academy and managing a farm of A-circuit showjumping stallions as well as running small animal veterinary practices. Her educational background before she began to work with Craig began with a degree in fine art from the University of California at Davis where she taught both western and english riding. She has taken lessons in Natural Horsemanship with Dave Williams, one of Tom Dorrance's students, and with eventer Keith Schramm. She also loved working with children in Portland at Susie Schramm's "Once Upon a Horse".

She continues her studies with Craig, with the master horsemen and -women he introduces her to, and by use of the library at NSAE.
